I fell in love with this Zara skirt the moment I saw it. Although it’s a trendy piece it looks so good in my retro looks. Like here, with my 70s shirt. Actually you can always find some retro looking pieces in every Zara collection or at least something that you can adapt to your retro style. That’s why I love Zara.
As a big fan of pattern mixing I decided to style my skirt with this patterned shirt. These two patterns have absolutely different characters: one is snake pattern and the other is geometric retro pattern. But they look very well together because of their black and white elements. Besides that the combination of red and green seems to me absolutely gorgeous.
I found this retro looking shirt in one second-hand store. I think that it’s from H&M’s very old collections but I’m not sure. It looks like my parents’ shirts they wore in the 70s. I wish its collar could be a bit bigger… But anyway it looks like a 70s shirt.
I love big rings and bracelets so I wore some of them. They always create that special atmosphere of hippie era.
However my bag is trendy. I like modern fashion and like to mix old and new.
My favorite aviator glasses were actually Mango sunglasses. I changed them to transparant glasses for vision correction. It’s amazing how eyewear can strongly underline your style. These glasses alone are able to create a 70’s look.
When you dress in retro style you can find a lot of things in mass market clothing brands. You just need to feel the right patterns, shapes and accessories. See you in my next post ❤
